LAST HIKE - May 6

Thirty WoWW hikers gathered at the Murphy County Flowage Park Ice Age Trail near Birchwood on a beautiful morning.  Most of us were not prepared for the warm temps that greeted us at the park.  Vivanne introduced most of us to several plants as we hiked through the woods and we encountered a Eastern Foxsnake on the trail that was NOT excited to see us. Some hiked a nearby gravel road while most took to the hiking trail through the woods.  We met back at the pavilion for lunch, treats and more conversation.  Thank you to Cathy Yohnk and Mary Stibbes for hosting this hike and providing great treats.
