LAST HIKE - October 14

We had 44 WOWWs come together at Ann Noble's beautiful home on Round Lake. There were amazing fall colors for the walk out to the point and along the lake. Ann made Wild Rice Lasagna for us all, along with her famous Fire and Ice pickles. Delicious treats were provided by Joan Ackerman, Chris Kaczorowski, and Rose Baldwin.

Hike: The hike is a 2.5 mile loop thru the woods - rocks, roots, boardwalks - old copper mine - some hills - beautiful scenic overlook - can see Lake Superior on a clear day - old fire tower - beautiful fall colors. You may want your hiking poles. 

Bathrooms:  Port-a-potty in parking lot.

Lunch: Lunch will be at the Kro Bar in Brule - pizza, drink & tip for $15.  Treats will be provided.  NOTE:  If you are NOT staying for lunch, please indicate in Comments section.
 

Cut the Craft:  If you are interested in staying for Cut the Craft to make a cute mophead ghost, please indicate in the Comments when you sign up for the hike.  **This is limited to the first 15 who sign up!**  Cost is $6 (please bring exact change).  All supplies provided.  

Parking:  Parking lot at trailhead. Carpooling encouraged.

Directions: 

From Hayward take Hwy 27N 34 miles - turn R to stay on 27N for 3 miles to US 2 - turn L and go 1/10th of a mile to Co Rd H - turn R and go 5.7 miles to Co Rd FF - turn L and go 2 miles to Clevedon Rd - turn L and go 1.4 miles to parking lot on left.

From Cable take 63N 8.9 miles to Co Rd N - turn L and go 14 miles to Hwy 27N - turn R and go 13 miles - turn R to stay on 27N for 3 miles to US 2 - turn L and go 1/10th of a mile to Co Rd H - turn R and go 5.7 miles to Co Rd FF - turn L and go 2 miles to Clevedon Rd - turn L and go 1.4 miles to parking lot on left.
