LAST HIKE December 9

Our hike on December 9 was a winter wonderland, inside and out at Kris Cooper's house. Sixteen WoWWs walked the two mile "loop" with fresh sparkly snow, and then were treated to lots of holiday decorations and treats inside Kris' beautiful home.  Thanks to Kris for sponsoring!​

Location:  Spider Lake Town Hall, 10896 W. Town Hall Rd.

​​​​​Hike: This hike is “out and back” and fairly flat but yaktrax and hiking poles are recommended.  Various distances will be marked.

Bathrooms:  In the town hall.

Lunch: Two hot soups (dairy-free broccoli & potato; vegetarian minestrone), crackers, desserts,
coffee.  Special Notes: Please join us even if you won’t be hiking! Come and enjoy a warm lunch and some holiday cheer with friends. Follow instructions in SignUp regarding lunch/no lunch/no hike.

Parking:  Several spaces around Town Hall, plus parking in adjacent lot east of the building.  Please keep the road to and from the fire station/road maintenance clear for traffic.

Directions:  (carpooling is encouraged)

From Hayward - Hwys 63/77 (L&M Hardware), drive 14 mi east on Hwy 77 to Town Hall Rd. (just past the fire danger sign). Turn left for one block, then turn left at the T-intersection, to Town Hall.

From Cable – Take Hwy 63 south to Seeley and turn left on Cty Rd OO. Follow Cty Rd OO to Hwy 77 and turn left for about 2.4 mi to Town Hall Rd. (just past the fire danger sign). Turn left for one block, then turn left at the T-intersection, to Town Hall.

From Casino – Take Cty Rd K north for 2 mi and turn right on Hwy 77. Drive east for 8.8 mi to Town Hall Rd. (just past the fire danger sign). Turn left for one block, then turn left at the T-intersection, to Town Hall.
