LAST HIKE:  May 12

Twenty WoWWs met at Pattison State Park on a beautiful, sunny morning. We hiked the trails to the big and little waterfalls, then ate our lunches near the park shelter.  We got the best part of the day as the clouds were moving in as we left.  Thanks to Dana for sponsoring the hike and providing treats!​

Location: Lakeview Golf & Pizza, 10334 N Sandy Beach Road, Hayward

​​​​​Hike: We will do an out-and-back hike up to 4 miles on flat, paved, and gravel roads.

Bathrooms: Available at the clubhouse.

Lunch: Lakeview is offering their “from scratch” thin crust 14" pizzas for us to share. We will have a variety of pizzas to choose from. Cost is $15, which includes tea or soda, tax & tip. Please indicate in the comment section if you plan to eat lunch so we know how many pizzas we need.

Activities: GOLF--Bring your clubs and golf the par 3, 9-hole course after lunch.

KAYAK--Those who want to kayak can follow Gini to her home on Chief Lake (9 miles away) at: 7854 N Worlds End Road. Gini has 3 extra kayaks. If you would like to use one, please call or text her at: 715-305-1923.

 

Parking: Plenty of parking.

Directions: Take Hwy B west out of Hayward for 10 miles to N. McClaine Rd. Take a left on N. McClaine, then the next left on N Sandy Beach Rd. Go 1 mile to Lakeview Golf.
